Canceled entry in a lottery ledger: how to remove from the total properly
When an entry is canceled, pending or unconfirmed, it should not be immediately included in the count of active lottery lines. The ledger must reflect the confirmed record. If the status is unclear, keep the question on the record instead of considering it a completed purchase.

Status before coverage
| False entry | Visible status | Active coverage in the ledger |
|---|---|---|
| A | Confirmed for draw D | Merge according to valid unique set. |
| B | Cancelled | Isolate; do not include as active. |
| C | Pending, no confirmation | Unknown until proven. |
| D | Refund logged, status unresolved | Keep the two facts separate. |
Two ledgers are clearer
In the entry ledger, record the game, draw, selection, confirmation reference and status. In the money ledger, record the charge, refund and pending adjustments. The refund receipt is a money event; the active entry status is product event. One is not always enough to prove the other.

Why is the source result not enough?
The PCSO result search is source for draw rows. It does not confirm personal entry status or refund. If there is a problem with the record, use the documented official channel of the applicable provider; there is no need to put account secrets in public comments or third-party screenshots.
Record the change, don’t erase the history
Example: “C pending 09:10; confirmation absent; checked again 09:35.” When there is a later confirmation, add the event and source reference. Don’t silently replace the pending row with the confirmed row. The audit trail shows when uncertainty has been resolved, and makes it easier to compare totals.
