Did the total stake change when the control changed?
There are controls that may have affected the coin value, active lines or multiplier. Read the labels and check the displayed total before proceeding. When changing settings, do not assume that only one component has changed if the interface is not clear.
If the coin setting is changed, check the total bet and active selection again. The new number in a control is not enough to calculate the full stake without knowing the other components.
- Label each control
- Total stake after the change
- Active configuration upon confirmation
In control return checklist, the first input is returned but still four times the total. Look at both the setting and the whole.
Additional checklist
In Fortunes of Aztec, there is a separate question about the feature itself. Read the Fortunes of Aztec: what counts as clearing an entire reel? for documented rules and clear hypothetical examples.
A setting can also change the unit being displayed: the credit-denomination example compares identical monetary balances with different credit counts.
Do not base on old screenshot of controls after changing setting.
Prioritize the rules screen itself and current operator conditions. If there is an unclear unit, trigger or scope, don’t make assumptions.
